How Dethrone works.
Dethrone is a public leaderboard where websites compete for a higher position by paying more.
What Dethrone is.
Dethrone is a public pay-to-climb leaderboard for websites. A site pays to be listed, and a larger confirmed total moves it higher on the Week or All Time board. New boards stay empty until real payments create real listings.
Three simple moves.
Enter a domain to check its position. Make a bid through secure Stripe Checkout. Hold the spot as each confirmed bid stays active for 7 days on Week and remains counted forever on All Time.
A bid is a payment.
When you add a bid, that money pays for your website to be listed. It is not a deposit, a balance, or money held for later. Every bid stays active for 7 days on the Week board and remains counted on All Time forever.
There is one top spot.
Listings are ordered by the total they have paid. Add more than the sites above you and your website moves up. Someone else can take the spot later by paying more.
Payments update the board.
A listing is created or moved only after Stripe confirms the payment. Refunds reduce the affected totals. The board recalculates after each confirmed payment or refund and connected visitors receive the change live.
Use a real destination URL.
Enter the website you want people to visit, not a URL shortener. Affiliate, referral, and tracking query parameters are removed from listing destinations. Dethrone adds its own attribution when someone opens a listing.
Clicks are public signals.
Each click count records visits sent from Dethrone to a listed website. Counts update as people open a listing and are shown as a simple measure of interest, not a guarantee of traffic.
No account is required.
Start with your domain from any device to check its position or add another bid. This device remembers it for quick access, but your domain is always the key.
